First sailed from Plymouth in 1960, it is the oldest solo transatlantic race. It has started from Lorient since 2024. Yoann Richomme won the IMOCA class in 8 d 6 h 53 min and Ambrogio Beccaria the Class40. The next edition starts from Lorient in 2028.
